2. Visiting the website

Visiting the website generates technical connection data, such as your IP address, access time, the page requested, browser and device information and, where applicable, the referring page. This data is used to deliver the website, maintain technical security and resolve faults.

The website at openair-fahrwangen.ch and the festival's email service are hosted by METANET AG, Josefstrasse 218, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland. METANET processes technical data to provide and secure these services. Further information: METANET privacy information ↗.

3. Cookies, fonts & local features

Visitor statistics using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are enabled only with your consent on the public festival domain. Without consent, these Google scripts do not load. See the “Google Analytics & Tag Manager” section for details. The embedded SwissTrustWidget and Ticketcorner.Light services are described separately below; the ticket shop may use its own cookies and other technologies. Our fonts and festival images are served with the website. The review carousel and, once activated, the ticket shop load external content; details can be found under Google reviews and Ticket shop. No social media feeds, video players or maps are embedded.

Programme tabs, the gallery and archive search run in your browser. Search terms in the band archive are not sent to a search provider or the organising team, and the website code does not store them permanently.

The access and hosting platform may use its own cookies and similar technologies for technical or account-related purposes. Information and settings are available in the platform provider's privacy and cookie notices.

4. Contact by email

An email link opens your own email application. We only receive your email address and the information you provide when you send the message. We use it to deal with your enquiry, ask follow-up questions and handle the related correspondence.

Within the organising team, only people who need the information to handle your enquiry have access. METANET AG in Zurich provides transmission and storage for the festival's email. Further details are available in METANET's privacy information linked above.

Please only send information needed for your enquiry. The current website has no contact form or newsletter sign-up.

5. Instagram, Facebook, Google & other links

Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, Google directions, the SBB timetable and band websites are provided as ordinary external links. These links alone do not load embedded content from those services when you visit this page.

When you open a link, the relevant provider processes data including technical connection information. If you are signed in to an account, it may associate your visit and activities with that account. Reviews, messages and other information submitted on those platforms are subject to their own privacy policies.

6. Google reviews with SwissTrustWidget

On the “About Schützi” page, we display public Google reviews with names, star ratings, text and dates using SwissTrustWidget from GEWE GmbH, Spitalackerstrasse 5, 3013 Bern. When this page loads, your browser connects to app.swisstrustwidget.ch; this transmits technical connection data, in particular your IP address.

According to the provider, the widget is delivered through Vercel in the USA; review data is supplied through Supabase with its database located in Zurich. The provider cites standard contractual clauses for transfers to the USA. IP addresses are processed briefly to prevent abuse. According to the provider, the widget sets no cookies and contains no analytics or advertising services.

The provider retrieves reviews from Google on its server. According to the provider, simply displaying them does not create a direct connection between your browser and Google; this only happens when you open a Google link. Further information: SwissTrustWidget privacy information ↗.

7. Ticket shop & calendar download

For advance ticket sales, the Ticketcorner.Light / EVENTIM Light shop at eventim-light.com is prepared for embedding. Until advance sales begin, the shop remains disabled and does not load. The provider is Ticketcorner AG, Im Buchenpark 3, 8304 Wallisellen, Switzerland. When the ticket shop loads, the provider receives technical connection data such as your IP address and browser information. The shop may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and, depending on the settings chosen there, for other purposes. The provider's notices and choices are available in the ticket shop.

When you place an order, the necessary contact, order and payment details are processed in the ticket provider's system. As organiser, we may receive the order and ticket information needed to run the event. Card details are not stored by this website's own code. Once advance sales begin, the shop displays the offers activated by the organiser. Tickets will also be available at the door; information about any payment providers used there will be provided before payment.

The calendar file contains the two festival days and is downloaded locally. It does not send calendar data to the organising team, book a ticket or sign you up for any messages.

8. Festival photos & image rights

The website displays artist images and photos from past festivals. They provide information about the programme and a look back at the event. Visitors may also be recognisable in archive photos.

Individual image rights are respected. Attending the festival does not constitute blanket consent to the publication of any individual portrait. The necessary consent is obtained for intentional portraits; for recognisable minors, parental or guardian consent must also be taken into account.

If you appear in a photo and have questions or objections about its use, please contact info@openair-fahrwangen.ch with a link to the photo. We will review your request and remove or amend the image where necessary. Details about photography planned for 2027 will be provided before the festival and on site.

9. Recipients & processing abroad

Service providers needed to operate the website may process data as part of their role. Authorities or professional advisers may also receive data where required by law or necessary to resolve a specific claim.

METANET AG in Switzerland provides hosting and email services. Its privacy information also describes cooperation with affiliated companies and service providers, and appropriate safeguards for transfers abroad. Information about other integrated providers appears in the relevant sections of this policy.

10. Retention & security

We retain information only for as long as needed for its purpose, required by law or necessary to resolve legitimate claims. Enquiries are deleted once concluded and when there is no further reason to retain them. Platform data is subject to the relevant provider's retention information.

We restrict access to personal data to those responsible for processing it and take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it. The website is served over encrypted HTTPS.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable data protection law, you may request access to your personal data, its correction and, where applicable, deletion or restriction of processing. Where the legal requirements are met, you may also request the release or transfer of data. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future.

Please write to the contact address above. Where necessary, we will verify your identity appropriately. Information is generally provided free of charge and usually within 30 days, subject to statutory exceptions.

12. Google Analytics & Tag Manager

With your consent, we use Google Analytics (G-V0QEJ1KS1B) and Google Tag Manager (GTM-TGFX23PX) for visitor statistics on openair-fahrwangen.ch. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Usage and device information may be processed, identifiers stored in cookies and data transferred to Google's service providers, including in the USA.

Statistics are disabled by default. We load the Google scripts only after you select “Allow statistics”. Advertising storage, personalised advertising and Google Signals remain disabled. Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser for a maximum of 180 days. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer.

13. One-off notification when tickets go on sale

If you activate the offered push notification, we use OneSignal, Inc. (USA) to notify you once when 2027 ticket sales begin. No name or email address is required. The push service loads only after you click the activation button; receiving a notification also requires your browser’s permission. On later visits, we load it only if you previously consented to activation.

This involves processing a technical push identifier, IP address, browser and device information, language, and information about the visit and notification. OneSignal uses local browser data for this purpose. We also store your activation choice locally. The notification is independent of your Google analytics preference.

OneSignal describes storage in Europe and access from the United States and other countries. It describes safeguards including standard contractual clauses for international transfers. More information is available in the OneSignal privacy policy ↗.

The subscription is solely for the one-off announcement that 2027 ticket sales have begun. You can withdraw it using “Unsubscribe” in the ticket section or in your browser’s website settings. Unsubscribing does not automatically delete data already stored by the service provider. Contact us for access or deletion requests; we may need information about your browser subscription to identify the record. Subscriptions collected for this announcement will be deleted after the campaign ends, unless retention is required.

We update this policy when features or services change. The date of this version appears at the top of the page. Where necessary, we will provide separate notice of significant changes.
